Next Version Of Android To Be Called Jelly Bean

Currently, most Android users are currently looking forward to Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Android which might see the light of day as soon as next month.  We all know that Google gives different names of desserts to each new major version of Android and The dessert-themed versions that came after Android 1.0 include:
Banana Bread (1.1)
Cupcake (1.5)
Donut (1.6)
Éclair (2.0 and 2.1)
Froyo (2.2)
Gingerbread (2.3)
Honeycomb (3.0 to 3.2)
Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0)
Now, Google is said to be already working on the version which will succeed the said OS, and will be codenamed “Jelly Bean”. According to This is My Next’s source,
“our source tells us he’s hearing that the “game-changing stuff” that had originally been scheduled for Ice Cream Sandwich is now being pushed to Jelly Bean, though we don’t know exactly what those big features are. Since its launch at Google I/O in May, the implication has been that Ice Cream Sandwich will help unify Android’s phone and tablet efforts — represented right now by Gingerbread and Honeycomb, respectively — into a single trunk, but beyond that, very little has been said about what ICS will bring to the table.”
